Wow, where do I start?!
I'm Steve's wife; Trey & Blake's Mom; Stacy, Chris & Savannah's Step-mom; Jackie's Step-mom-in-law and Jamarri, Ethan, Braden & Anna Kate's Mimi! I'm an only child to my parents, Nancy & Earl and one of two grand-daughters to my grandmother, Eveline... I work part-time at my church as a Ministry Assistant to our Pastors and also volunteer on the Media Team.
My Faith:
I'm a Daughter of the Most High King! Jesus loves you & I the same, so much that He came to die for us... but the amazing part is that He's not dead anymore! He Lives!! I am so thankful that He lives in my heart and through my life... I disappoint Him sometimes, I'm human... but I definitely don't mean to... the thing is, He knew it would happen... that's why He came in the first place! That's where His unconditional love comes in... He forgives. No matter where you are in life, He can save you or you can turn around and He's still there.
My Photography:
Have you ever wanted to do something so badly that it felt like the minutes were passing like hours? Well, that's how its felt over the last year and a half for me... I've wanted to 'do this' for a long time. I never thought I could, and even if I could, would anyone hire me?!
My sweet hubby gave me a Nikon DSLR for Christmas in 2007 and it began... a fire was lit! I absolutely love it!! I don't consider myself a pro, but my clients do, so I guess I'll accept it! I just love what I do and love to help people capture the special moments in life. I am a 'lifestyle photographer', which means I prefer to work on-location to capture your awesomeness. I don't own a studio for a couple of reasons... 1. because it would be more costly for me and you (neither of us want that!) and 2. because I think it 'stiffens up' the person or people being photographed. I would much rather go to a place that is comfortable... at home, a park, a playground, downtown, or anywhere (within reason!) that they can feel comfortable. Stuff you reeeeeally wanna know:
I love going to the movies. Dr Pepper is my drink of choice, I love M&M's with popcorn (movies+ Dr P+ M&M's+ popcorn= bliss), I love worship at my church, my mom still spoils me, my favorite restaurant is Tokyo's Japanese restaurant (take me to the movies after and... ok, I know, you get it) I get really tempted during infomercials, I don't like to cook (good thing my 12 year old is gonna be a professional chef like 'Emerald' aka Emeril), I was a stay at home mom for 6 years, my hubby and I met at work (he still works there!), I love to sing, we love Disney channel and Andy Griffith, I've been on 3 cruises (I earned 2 of them free!), and much, much more! (I learned that on infomercials...sorry.)
